You can book a tour by browsing our packages and clicking the "Book Now" button, or by contacting us directly via WhatsApp or the contact form for a tailor-made itinerary. Once we agree on the details, we send a booking confirmation and payment instructions.

Can I customize an existing package?

Absolutely. All our packages are designed to be fully flexible. We can adjust the duration, destinations, accommodation level, and activities to suit your preferences and budget.

What is included in the tour price?

Our prices typically include private transportation with an English-speaking chauffeur-guide, accommodation, daily breakfast, and specified entrance fees. Detailed inclusions are listed on each package page. International flights are not included.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 4–8 weeks in advance, especially for peak season (December–April). For highly specific requests such as Aman properties or whale-watching season, booking 3–6 months ahead is advisable. Last-minute bookings are possible subject to availability.

What is your cancellation policy?

Travel Tips

When is the best time to visit Sri Lanka?

Sri Lanka is a year-round destination. December to April is best for the south and west coasts (Colombo, Galle, Mirissa, Ella). May to September is best for the east coast (Trincomalee, Arugam Bay, Pasikudah). The cultural triangle (Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, Kandy) can be visited year-round.

Do I need a visa to visit Sri Lanka?

Most nationalities need an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) to enter Sri Lanka, which you can apply for online at eta.gov.lk before departure. The ETA is valid for 30 days (extendable to 90 days) and costs approximately USD 20–35 depending on your nationality.

Is Sri Lanka safe for tourists?

Yes, Sri Lanka is generally very safe for tourists. The UK Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) rates Sri Lanka as generally safe for travel. Zelenso Travel provides 24/7 local on-ground support throughout your journey for complete peace of mind.

What currency is used in Sri Lanka?

The local currency is the Sri Lankan Rupee (LKR). US dollars, euros, and British pounds are widely accepted at hotels and larger businesses. ATMs are available in all major towns and cities. We recommend carrying some cash for smaller establishments and tuk-tuk rides.

What vaccinations do I need for Sri Lanka?

No vaccinations are officially required to enter Sri Lanka (unless you are arriving from a yellow fever endemic country). However, UK travel clinics typically recommend being up to date on hepatitis A, typhoid, and tetanus. Consult your GP or a travel health clinic at least 6–8 weeks before travel.
